How do I become a Hero?

Create an account, switch to the Hero view, complete your profile and set up payouts.

Heroes are independent service providers who find work through HomeHero. Anyone aged 18 or over can join.

Getting set up

Create an account and choose to start as a Hero, or switch an existing account via the For Heroes tab in the menu.
Complete your profile: a clear photo, a description of your experience and the services you offer.
Set up payouts in the Economy menu. Stripe verifies your identity and bank details. See Setting up payouts.
Upload documents such as proof of insurance or trade authorisations in Documents & verification to earn badges on your profile.
Turn on task alerts for the categories and distance you want. See Task alerts.

Being independent

As a Hero you run your own business. You are responsible for your own taxes, VAT and any authorisations your trade requires. Please read the Hero rules before you send your first offer.
