How do task alerts work?

Task alerts tell you when a new task is posted that matches what you do and where you work. Being among the first to send a good offer makes a real difference.

Setting up your alerts

Go to Task alerts and choose:

• Categories: for example cleaning, painting or garden work. Only choose the work you're actually qualified for.
• Distance: how far from your area you're willing to travel.

How you're notified

Alerts can be sent by email and in the app. You decide which channels you want in Notification settings.

Tips

• Start with a realistic distance. You can always widen it later.
• If you get too many alerts, narrow the categories rather than switching alerts off.
• For electrical, gas or plumbing work, make sure your authorisation is approved in Documents & verification, so you can take on the tasks that require it.

You can also browse all open tasks at any time, whether or not an alert was sent.
