How do I send a good offer?

Give one clear total price and explain exactly what is included.

Your offer is a total price for the whole job plus a short message. Only the customer can see the amount.

Getting the price right

  • Read the task description and photos carefully.
  • If anything is unclear, send the customer a private message on the task before you send your offer.
  • Include everything: labour, travel, materials (if you supply them) and removal of waste.
  • Remember that the HomeHero fee is deducted from your payout. See Service fees.

Writing the message

  • Say what is included and what isn't.
  • Mention relevant experience and how long the job will take.
  • Suggest when you can do it.
  • Keep it friendly and to the point.

What's not allowed

Phone numbers, emails, links, social media handles, your company website, and suggestions to pay or meet outside HomeHero are blocked automatically. Repeated attempts lead to restrictions. See Communication rules.

After the customer accepts

You get a notification, a private chat opens, and you receive the customer's address. The agreed price is the price; you can't add charges later outside the platform.
