How do I edit my profile?

Your profile is what others see when you post a task, ask a question or send an offer. Keep it up to date.

How to edit

Go to Settings to update:

• your first name and profile photo
• your description
• your location (postal code or town)

What others see

Only your first name is shown publicly, along with your photo, description and reviews. Your email address and phone number are never shown.

Tips for Heroes

A good profile wins more jobs:

• Use a clear, friendly photo of yourself.
• Describe your experience and the services you offer.
• Upload proof of insurance and trade authorisations in Documents & verification to earn badges.

What's not allowed

Profiles may not contain phone numbers, emails, links, social media handles or advertising for your own company or website. These are blocked automatically. See Communication rules.
