How do reviews work?

Customers and Heroes review each other once per completed and paid job.

Reviews help everyone on HomeHero make good choices. Because they're tied to real bookings, you can trust what you read.

Who can leave a review?

  • Only after a job has been completed and paid through HomeHero.
  • Both ways: the customer reviews the Hero, and the Hero reviews the customer.
  • Once per job.

Writing a good review

Be honest and specific. Mention what went well, such as punctuality, quality and communication, and what could be better. Stick to facts about the job and keep it respectful.

What reviews can't be

  • Bought: offering money, discounts or favours for reviews isn't allowed.
  • Removed by the person reviewed: a Hero or customer can't delete or edit a review about themselves.

Abusive or false reviews

If a review contains insults, personal information, discrimination or content that has nothing to do with the job, use the Report button on the review. Our team will look at it.

Jobs paid outside HomeHero

These can't be reviewed. It's one more reason to keep bookings on the platform. See Can I pay a Hero directly?
