• Why can't I share my phone number or email?Contact details, links and requests to pay outside HomeHero are blocked to keep everyone protected.
• What does HomeHero Damage Protection cover?Accidental damage caused by the Hero during a job booked and paid through HomeHero is covered.
• How do verification and badges work?Heroes can upload insurance and trade authorisations, which our team reviews and shows as badges.
• Who can do electrical, gas and plumbing work?Work that legally requires an authorisation may only be done by Heroes with an approved authorisation.
• How do reviews work?Customers and Heroes review each other once per completed and paid job.
• How does HomeHero protect my privacy?We only show first names, hide your exact address until a job is paid, and block contact details.
• How do I stay safe and report someone?Keep everything on HomeHero, watch for warning signs and use the Report button.
• What do “Verified ID” and “Phone verified” mean?Verified ID means Stripe checked a government ID and a live selfie; Phone verified means the Hero confirmed their mobile by SMS.
