How do offers work?

Heroes send a total price and a message, and only you can see the offer amounts.

Once your task is published, Heroes can send you an offer. Each offer contains a total price for the job and a message explaining what is included.

Who sees what

  • Offers and your private messages with each Hero are shown on your task.
  • The amounts of the offers are visible only to you.
  • Other Heroes can see that offers have been made, but not the prices.

Questions before booking

Before you book, each Hero can message you in a private thread on the task — only the two of you can see it. You can also suggest another price on any offer. The full chat and your address open once you have accepted and paid for an offer.

Comparing offers

Look beyond the price. Check the Hero's reviews, profile description and badges such as "Insurance verified" or "Authorised". See How do I choose the right Hero?

Accepting

When you're ready, accept the offer you prefer and pay by card. The price you see includes everything for the job; the HomeHero service fee is shown before you pay. See Service fees.
