How do I make a great Hero profile?

Open My profile from the menu behind your photo (top right). Everything is edited right on the page, and the profile strength meter shows what's still missing.

What to add

• A clear photo of yourself. We crop it to a square.
• About me: at least a few sentences (80+ characters) about what you do, plus the languages you speak and your years of experience.
• Experience: roles, employers or self-employed work, with years. Use the arrows to put the most relevant first.
• Skills: the kinds of work you do. Priced services are managed in Services & prices.
• Certificates & authorisations: licences, diplomas, insurance and police conduct certificates. See How verification works.
• Portfolio: up to 12 photos of your work, with captions such as "Before" and "After". We remove location (GPS) and camera data from every photo automatically.

See what customers see

Use Preview as customer to open your public profile exactly as customers see it. Only your first name, photo and area are shown — never your surname, phone number, email or address.

Bios, experience, captions and review replies can't contain phone numbers, emails, links or company contact details. They're blocked automatically.
